Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and it’s important that you feel comfortable and safe. Here’s a little about me, my background, and what guides my work.
I grew up in North London, and from an early age I found comfort in nature. I love the outdoors, the changing seasons, and especially spending time by the sea. Being in natural spaces has always helped me feel calm and grounded, and this sense of reflection and safety often influences the way I work with both children and adults in therapy.
I first knew I wanted to become a therapist while working in schools, supporting children and young people with their feelings, worries, and wellbeing. Although my path did not begin with therapy straight away, it led me through many years of meaningful work with young people who needed extra care, patience, and understanding.
I worked in pastoral, mentoring, and safeguarding roles, helping children and young adults feel safe, listened to, and supported during difficult times.
With over 20 years of experience working alongside children, families, and professionals, I bring a broad and grounded background to my work. Over the past five years, I have trained as a qualified psychotherapist, offering counselling and therapeutic support to children, young people, and adults.
I believe therapy should feel safe, warm, and welcoming. I will work gently and at your pace, walking alongside you as you make sense of your experiences, build confidence, and find new ways to cope, grow, and move forward.

I have extensive experience supporting emotional wellbeing, mental health, and safeguarding within both education and therapeutic settings. I work with children, young people, and adults, adapting my approach so that sessions feel age-appropriate, supportive, and easy to engage with.
Whether I am working with a child or an adult, my aim is always the same: to help people feel heard, understood, and valued.

Face to face sessions will take place at Melbourn Hub in South Cambridgeshire and last 50 minutes. Meeting in person offer’s presence, connection, and grounding, providing a calm and supportive space to talk and reflect together.
Video sessions take place via a secure video call and last 50 minutes. Seeing each other can offer a sense of connection similar to in-person therapy, while allowing you to join from the comfort of your own space.
Telephone sessions take place via phone call and last 50 minutes. Some people often find it easier to talk without being on camera, allowing them to focus on their thoughts and feelings without visual distractions.
If you feel ready, complete the enquiry form and I’ll be in touch to arrange a free initial conversation. It’s a chance to talk things through and see how I can best support you.
